Unconfirmed, but if this is true it's despicable and we need answers and accountability.

If anyone has any more information on this please share in the comments.
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS: Was just passed this from a fellow service academy grad. A Coast Guard Academy graduate posted this. They are reporting that ICE entered base housing and took a USCG spouse. I can’t confirm this but I’m calling for answers from the Coast Guard and Congress. This is unacceptable.

One of several work sites today. Seems calm in a snapshot, but the pond is teeming with life. Blue-spotted salamanders, boreal chorus frogs, several crayfish species, and a thriving abundance of macroinvertebrates. Looking forward to seeing how it changes day by day.

Emerald ash borer is my Roman Empire. I will always wonder what our wetlands looked like before we lost our ash and reed canary came in.

Controlling what I can in my corner of the world. The frogs are quiet but they are still in the ponds.

Snow day after 62 degrees on Saturday. White-winged scaups, goldeneyes, and tons of red breasted mergansers on Lake Michigan today. One confused song sparrow and killdeer disappointed to be back early.

Reyes began by reading the ban language: "Transgender troops are disqualified from service without an exemption."

The Justice Department lawyer said Hegseth was using a kind of "shorthand" and didn't quite mean the ban as written.

Judge didn't buy it.

Snowfall in WI was disappointing this year, but today's rains are encouraging. Hopefully enough to bring the wetland critters out of the duff layer and into the ephemeral ponds soon.

Let's say their names:

* General CQ Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: FIRED FOR BEING BLACK

* Admiral Lisa Franchetti, Chief of Naval Operations: FIRED FOR BEING FEMALE

* Admiral Linda Fagan, Coast Guard Commandant: FIRED FOR BEING FEMALE

All replaced by less qualified white guys.
its genuinely insane that they're firing CJCS for being black and CNO for being a woman. that is what's happening here

The possibility of losing so many of our insect friends to things like pollution, pesticides, habitat destruction and climate change. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
