~65% of Americans live within this 100 mile exclusion zone. SCOTUS has repeatedly upheld this weakened 4th Amendment area, allowing CPB/ICE to conduct "papers please" stops based solely on "reasonable suspicion", warrant not included.

"ICE removal agents charged with doing administrative arrests, [Dan Gividen] said, lack the tactical training to safely do operations out in communities. “It’s not at all surprising that this is happening with these ICE ERO officers being sent out to basically treat people terribly,”"
ICE officers tell media that the conduct in Minneapolis is part of a plan by Stephen Miller to provoke as much violence and death as possible—which in turn will be taken as pretext for more. “They’re essentially operating now in a resource constraint-free environment and doing very dangerous things”
Former members of ICE say recent violence is "by design"
"What has changed is there has been an encouragement from the top to be much more aggressive in enforcement."

"The administration has styled the boat attacks as acts of war, and has said that makes them lawful. It has styled the military incursion into Venezuelan territory to seize Mr. Maduro as a law enforcement operation, saying the military provided support to the Justice Department."

So, more lies.
Justice Dept. Memo Approved Military Incursion Into Venezuela as Lawful

Attorney General Pam Bondi told lawmakers in briefings this week that the administration would share Office of Legal Counsel memo with them.

Kelly: This letter or anything that Hegseth says or does to me is in no way going to affect the way I do my job. His option is he can continue with this kind of bullshit or he can go take a hike. That's his options.

The great role models we have in men like Mark Kelly just make it more apparent how truly incompent and under qualified Hegseth is.
Mark Kelly blasts Hegseth attempting to lower his military rank and pension. Saying "If Pete Hegseth, the most unqualified Secretary of Defense in our country’s history, thinks he can intimidate me with a censure or threats to demote me or prosecute me, he still doesn’t get it."

They pirate-stole oil tankers, launched missiles, entered Venezuela with guns, killed 40 Venezuelans, and kidnapped Venezuela’s president.

Rubio says that’s NotWar™.
Administrations have come up with lots of flimsy rationales for why their wars don't need congressional authorization over the years, but this might be the most transparently bad faith and facially absurd.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Why wasn't congressional authorization necessary?

RUBIO: It wasn't necessary because this was not an invasion. We didn't occupy a country. This was an arrest operation.

Freedom and liberty are protected by the rule of law. Without things like due process, freedom & liberty become privileges, not rights.
I believe everyone deserves these self evident things, not just rich white people who can pay the tribute.
So, no, I won't be defending it like Donald Trump.
Kristi Noem: "This is a time when our country really will find out who loves America, who wants the freedoms and liberties that our country represents, and how they're willing to stand up and defend it like President Trump is."

It all started in 1955 with a misprint in a Colorado newspaper and a call to Col. Harry Shoup's secret military hotline. Shoup played along with the tiny voice who called, and a tradition was born.

Yesterday, WaPo reported that the CG has removed swastikas, confederate flags, and nooses from a list of "hate symbols". This is both technically correct, and an oversimplification.

Additional information about the tanker seizure. Apparently, the Skipper was spoofing their location data and not reporting it, possibly to avoid sanctions placed on exports of Venezuelan oil during Trump's first presidency.
I absolutely do not condone the US seizure of the Skipper but this BBC piece raises a lot of questions among which is who is the legal owner of the oil? The tanker spoofed its location and id on the regular and transferred oil to and from other vessels on the high seas. www.bbc.com/news/article...

A seized tanker accused of smuggling sanctioned oil has long hidden its true location. BBC Verify examines how.
