I know fewer local people on here but if you live in Alabama and in particular are in driving distance to Birmingham, the APT board of directors is meeting to decide whether to cut PBS, if you can make it out on Tuesday to show them how important PBS is to you it would be very helpful.

There’s so much good new brutal death metal and OSDM out there. So many high profile bands killing it in the genre. The one record I can’t stop listening to is a lower profile record by Scorching Tomb. Ossuary stomps and thrashes and is just plain fun. ‘Skullcrusher’ feat. Devin Swank totally rips.

I might start posting again. It will probably be about music. I’m not sure if this is a midlife crisis or what, but I’ve been discovering tons of new and new-to-me music the last few months. I’ve also been reading lots of books about favorite bands and scenes and diving deep into old catalogs.
