@democrats.org This is the winning strategy. Protect the vote and get elected.
What they don't seem to realize is that a huge portion of their "base" doesn't vote at all, and if they worked as hard to make voting easy, convenient, and POPULAR, they'd simply have the numbers to win outright without having to court the "center."

Trump is teaching you how to fight him.

A Border Patrol official arrested a 19 yo citizen from Albuquerque in Arizona who didn’t have ID on him, claimed he ‘admitted’ to illegally crossing the border, abducted + ICE imprisoned him for 10 days, and would have deported him to Mexico if his family hadn’t tracked him down and provided his ID.

Why does a Microsoft Teams invite delete itself from your email when you accept it??? It contains the link to the meeting for christsake. Then I find out today that accepting it in Apple’s calendar doesn’t really accept it. I have an interview. This is stressing me out.

When I reported a long 2021 piece about Cuomo, a thing that many people who worked for him for years told me about (besides the corruption, incompetence & cruel domination tactics) was that he & those in his senior circles JUST DIDN'T CARE about policy, or about actually getting anything done.

The next mayor of NYC y’all. I’m freakin’ Nostradamus
Everything about Cuomo is awful, but I feel like we're missing the particularly pathetic comedy of his resorting to ChatGPT to write his HOUSING PLAN when he is not only former governor but also FORMER US SECRETARY OF HOUSING.

Is this enough of a constitutional crisis for you to act?
Trump to Bukele: "Home-growns are next. The home-growns. You gotta build about five more places. It's not big enough."

@schumer.senate.gov
Here’s that constitutional crisis you were talking about. Or are you going to keep dithering while other people act? You should be on a flight to El Salvador tomorrow.
COLLINS: Can President Bukele weigh in on this? Do you plan to return Garcia?

BUKELE: How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? Of course I'm not going to do it. The question is preposterous

This is a great point. For example, when I look back at the epochal changes of this past January, I would personally have voted not to confirm Marco Rubio
We often look back on the seminal moments in our history and wonder "What would I have done?"

This is our moment. This is our time.

We must stand up. We must speak out. We must do everything we can to stop a President who has every intention of destroying our democracy.

Yep. I wrote recently about how GOP policies don't match that post WWII middle class lifestyle. That period had much higher taxes, stronger unions, stronger gov regulation of finance. All of these added up to much less inequality than we have today. That's why grandparents seemed to have it better.

My PCP doesn’t have the Shingles vaccine in my nearest office so I put it off until I could get uptown. If I had known I could schedule it at CVS while standing on line to pick up my prescriptions I would have done it ages ago.
