Move right? Move left? Drop certain issues? Highlight others? Those all matter but not as much as simply waiting for the party-in-power to become unpopular.

These results underscore why Dems need good 2026 Senate cands in those "reach" states (IA NE OH TX FL AK SD): their coalition is now super-charged for off-year elections. Reliable, high educ, suburban voters have steadily moved to Dems. And if indies disapprove of Trump, map gets crazy real quick.
Looks like the Dems will pick up 12 seats in the VA House of Delegates, which will go from 51-49 to 63-37 D-R. That's an honestly shocking result.

Just as GOTG director James Gunn was un-fired by Disney after its deal to purchase Fox was finalized, I wonder if CBS will eventually un-cancel Stephen Colbert's Late Show
BREAKING

The FCC has approved Skydance’s acquisition of Paramount CBS.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr says approval came about after Skydance made commitments regarding “unbiased journalism,” an end of DEI policies, and injection of new capital.

Approval comes just after CBS settled Trump’s lawsuit.

New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays.

Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn.
