Counter point: the only time I’ve ever really seen someone change their mind has been during in-person conversations. Unless you’re a celebrity, there’s more rhetorical power in being congenial, patient, and open w your own views out in the world than anything you can do online
i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.

That is something we point out in the story and which quite frankly well placed Dem sources have telling us for weeks if not months: in the event of Trump’s doing a wave of preemptive federal pardons for admin personnel who Don’t have his broadened immunity, state AGs are still a thing
