the big problem Democrats face is that virtually the entirety of the party apparatus is built around the belief that reasonable Republicans not only exist, but for the low low price of millions of dollars they can show you how to get them to vote for you
There is no such thing as a “reasonable Republican” and I will instinctively recoil against any person or organization that suggests otherwise.

the only real advice i can give anyone is to simply get a degree and then get an office job doing anything. you do not care about personal fulfillment, you want to be a cog in the machine, you want your 40 hours a week and healthcare and to not constantly worry if you are going to make rent
Seeing stuff like this is always funny because my parents 100% never told me to do what makes me happy or even allowed that to enter the conversation lol. In fact they were basically like "You can always outwork someone" and to their credit they grinded nonstop lol.
