I don't know if this needs to be said or not but "elected official assassinated in their home" is simply not a thing that happens in this country. 1825, 1889, 1893, 1973. Those are all the ones I can find, ever, before today.

Wow — John Fetterman has missed a remarkable 30 votes this year, has cancelled town halls, and avoids engaging with voters.

But he did make time to go on a first-class, five-star hotel, all-expenses paid $36,000 trip to Israel to barbecue & hang out with Israeli military and government officials.

Immigration “judges” and ICE work for the same bosses. And these aren’t real courts (unless you’re big on early modern legal traditions huge numbers of oppressed people fled Europe hundreds of years ago to escape.)
One thing people aren’t grasping about ICE waiting in immigration court to kidnap people at their hearings:

DOJ lawyers are *intentionally dismissing cases* to avoid having to do any work & due process by just handing them to ICE. Pathetic & illegal.

The steady deterioration of First Amendment rights and the conflation of violence with dissent is a result not just of an authoritarian regime but of a press culture that is feckless at best and authoritarian-fluffers at worst. The New York Times is beyond redemption.
The killings of two Israeli Embassy workers in Washington on Wednesday cast a harsh spotlight on the pro-Palestinian movement in the U.S. and the impact even peaceful protests might be having on attitudes against people connected to Israel.

They've tracked 50 such cases. Sometimes, evidence was withheld until the eve of a trial. In a few, it was revealed well into it.
