I love McQuarrie's art for Star Wars.
Officially licensed Star Wars print, published in 1993, with a description on the back that reads as follows: “An evil Darth Vader dominates this painting by Ralph McQuarrie, done before filming began on Star Wars.”

This was a botched Budget by a Chancellor who’s diagnosed the disease but won’t administer the cure.

Despite promises to cut the cost of living and grow the economy, the Government still refuses to fix our trade relationship with Europe and repair the £90bn Brexit black hole.

I guess from the 'nags' on Windows 11 that the one thing worse for #Microsoft than not having a 365 account is that you had one, and for some strange reason, you don't want to renew it. 🤔

The #Chancellor speech was today was basically like a partner lining you up that they had an affair....I made a promise and I broke it...but your just about to find out.
Chancellor Reeves November pre budget speech.

Why does it all sound so familiar?

This from X is a striking example of what I argue in today’s column. Reform and the Tories are out here gleefully saying disabled people on Motability should be forced to drive a 3-wheeler, like a scarlet letter. The stigma is not an accident - it’s the design.

I think we have entered a Golden Handcuff agreement with USA big tech just as the USA goes full-on dictatorship. Very out of step with European Digital Sovereignty.
It's vital for the UK to understand digital sovereignty as we enter the AI era.

As Mike Bracken writes in the Financial Times this week, the UK risks relinquishing control over policymaking by depending on monopolist international platforms.

Most of the British population contracted COVID-19 prior to the vaccine roll-out. Everyone knows about Long COVID, it increases the risk of neurological, cardiovascular, and psychiatric conditions that can themselves be disabling. Combine this with an underfunded NHS. What do these people expect?
Wilfred Frost: "The number of sick days taken by British workers is at the highest level for 15 years. As a nation do we need to toughen up a little bit?"

Frost really is woeful.

Using a VPN keeps victims safe, so I’m gonna keep using my VPN, thanks, and don’t you DARE try to stop me.
UK government asks everybody to stop using VPNs.

"everybody who's out there thinking of using VPNs...verifying your age keeps a child safe...So let's just not try and find a way around. Just prove your age."
