I get Michael's point, I really do, but from the perspective of a recent transplant to the PNW, hiking/outdoorsy stuff really shouldn't be a personality trait. It's that or booze, and when you are a not-outdoorsy non-drinker, the PNW freeze is very real indeed.

For our office's holiday "open house" (as if any of the rest of the bldg is gonna come visit the attys, lol), there will be a hate chicken (chickfila) platter. And that's one of the things I was hoping wouldn't happen in the PNW. At least I continue to save money by not "chipping in."

my biggest takeaway about under-40 voters' attitudes about the economy is if you wanted my generation and younger to be loyal partisans who could overlook their own struggles to report positively about the economy, then dems probably should've treated those voters a lot differently the past 10 years

Saw an article complaining younger employees are lowering the bar for sick days & taking more.
What they're complaining about is mental health days. I'm bipolar; their options are to either let me take a day or two for mitigation when I start cycling or see me whenever I get out of lockup. Cope.
