I get Michael's point, I really do, but from the perspective of a recent transplant to the PNW, hiking/outdoorsy stuff really shouldn't be a personality trait. It's that or booze, and when you are a not-outdoorsy non-drinker, the PNW freeze is very real indeed.

One of my (least) favorite things about being me is the wee hours anxiety (sometimes panic attacks) that wakes me up and keeps me up for a good hour or more.
