I'm never a fan of psalm responses in the voice of God, but this one in particular seems ill-advised.

a weird thing about bluesky celebrities mostly being news opinion/journalism people is you are being told a G-lister scandal is worth thinking and talking about

Sometimes I think about how Tania del Rio wrote and drew 40-something issues of "manga-style" Sabrina the Teenage Witch comics, imo one of the best runs of all-ages comics ever, and then more or less disappeared from the industry.

When I was a small child, I said I liked a nutcracker at Christmas. I received nutcrackers from nearly every family member for the next several years for my “collection.”

Same energy.
He's the sports jersey pope now. 1000 years from now historians will be going through the Vatican archives trying to figure out who the Charlotte Hornets were.
Spike Lee just blessed Pope Leo with a custom Knicks jersey during his visit to the Vatican, just one week after the Pope was gifted a custom Chicago Bulls one.

It has come to my attention that A Man on the Inside season 2 is a week away. Very sweet and funny show. Great post-Good Place use of Ted Danson.

"Long term, Johnson’s hope is for the franchise to evolve with a new actor to play the lead character every two years. First up is Dinklage, the Game of Thrones star most recently seen in the films Wicked and Roofman."

Oh. This seems like a terrible idea.

It's funny how the U.S. bishops invented a document type ("special message") and then used it only twice in the past two decades, first to condemn contraception mandates and now to condemn Trump's deportation regime. The Catholic Church, it contains multitudes.

Now that the CAB has been announced, imo the most important thing about it is it'll be an unvarying translation shared by the Lectionary, Liturgy of the Hours, and the Bible. The fact that none of these books currently match despite ostensibly being the same translation has been a problem.

I feel like all the Bond posts are ignoring that Horowitz believes 1) a new Bond film would be a continuation of Craig stuff and 2) Bond is a person not a code name. It may not be one's preferred take, but it's clearly his.
