apparently the Concept2 founders stepped back from running the company and have put the company in a "Perpetual Purpose Trust", directing profits to be reinvested in the business.

My mom had cancer, her doctor wanted immunotherapy, the cost was 12,000 per treatment. Insurance refused to cover it. She got all of 2 treatments before she had a stroke and went to the hospital and died about a week later. Hospital sent us a bill for a out 40k.
