It is unbelievable that this is happening in our country
NEW: Footage of a US citizen in Chicago being rammed then dragged from her car on her way to work.

Abducted, with no warrant, her family couldn’t find her for hours.

She was later released with NO CHARGE.

A DHS statement said she “violently resisted arrest, injuring two officers”.

You decide…

Why isn't this the top story in the New York Times? Israel, National parks, IVF all above this. If any other country in the world had this going on, it would be the headline. Do better NYT!!!

If thoughts and prayers are enough to protect children from gun violence, why aren't they enough to protect us from immigrants (no need for ICE)? Or from crime (no need for National Guard or active military in US cities)? Or to protect US trade (no need for tariffs)?

Not taking anything away from Senator Padilla because he was treated atrociously

But I JUST want to remind everyone that the Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, a Black woman, was just indicted for just asking questions at an ICE detention center in her state

Keep that same energy of support for her

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

My advice is if your law firm can't say this, get yourself a new law firm.

If you're furious at Dems who are not fighting, help the Dems who are.

We're going up against Elon Musk and the GOP machine in Wisconsin on April 1.

Throw yourself into electing Susan Crawford and beating Brad Schimel—and you'll send a message to the whole country.

Don't cave!!
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.
