This may have been the most insane and incoherent four days of his presidency. Tylenol, the U.N., I hate my opponents, other countries are going to hell, this escalator's broken, I'm mad at a TV comedian, I like Ukraine now. It really feels as if some minimal tether to reality has snapped.

When I was 9 months pregnant and had a headache so bad I asked my husband to find a way to knock me out, the only thing the hospital gave me was Tylenol. It barely dulled the pain, but it was better than nothing....and I guess that's what women in excruciating pain are supposed to get now?

I was a USAID contractor in 1994-95, just after college graduation. The work we did supporting land use and housing programs in transitioning countries in Eastern Europe was impactful and important, the people doing the work were dedicated experts. This will break my heart and people's lives.
One of my party facts is that according to polls, Americans believe foreign aid is about 25% of the federal budget and on average that it *should* be about 10%.
The actual number is less than 1%.
Foreign aid has long been a boogey man of the right, so it's not surprising they're vilifying it now.
