It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

This is in some ways more scandalous than Dick Cheney’s politicization before the Iraq war. Trump made a transparently bogus claim in order to get emergency power to render legal immigrants to a concentration camp.

When spooks debunked the claim, Tulsi started firing people.
Joe Kent, top aide to DNI Tulsi Gabbard, ordered rewriting to an intel analysis re Venezuela & TDA so the doc could not be "used against" Trump, adding to concerns about politicizing intel. More emails also emerging.

Given the literal definition of deportation is removing a foreigner or noncitizen from the country, we - journalists, media orgs - should probably all stop referring to the ‘deportation’ of a 2 year old US citizen. It’s NOT a deportation.

I’m not sure what it is. A kidnapping?
