This looks like an incredible book, and you should buy it or ask your library to buy it
After many years of reporting and writing, the day is finally here: THERE IS NO PLACE FOR US is out today.

I poured everything into this book, and I hope it ignites outrage at the fact that so many people in the richest nation on earth have been deprived of one of the most basic human necessities.

IMO the #MeToo movement was smothered in 2020

multiple women made credible allegations that Joe Biden had harassed and abused them, and many centrists felt these should be swept under the rug so Biden could beat Trump

he was one of the worst candidates from 2020 IMO

Did you know? Earlier this year, Minnesota became the latest state to eliminate prison gerrymandering.

A new law, signed by Tim Walz in the spring, will end the practice of counting incarcerated people where prisons are located, which skews political power within the state.

Cannot stress this enough. Political purity does not get things done. Finding areas where you can work together is the essence of coalition-building.
if i've learned one thing from doing union stuff while also doing other forms of organizing, it's that you're better off with people you disagree with who are nevertheless trying to do the same thing as you than with people you agree with who aren't trying to do anything
