I don’t have much to add to the Charlie Kirk situation (wiser and funnier people than me have said all I would wanna say), but sympathy for a person who has passed is not an inherent right, and if people don’t feel it for you, that is what you earned in while you were alive.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.
Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.
But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

Full offense, but I don’t want to hear anyone from other countries telling us to flee if your country doesn’t accept migrants without college degrees, with disabilities, or non-white people. The people most vulnerable are the exact people your countries would leave for dead at their borders.
