Surprise, surprise

Billionaires are buying elections to put people in power-Republicans-who will give them more tax breaks

Even if it comes at the expense of the poorest people in the country

Apparently, even though they have generational wealth for the next 1,000 years, there is never enough
We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

The revelation of their plan this week shocked European leaders, who are now paying almost all of the military costs of the war, as well as the Ukrainians, who were not sure whether to take this latest plan seriously until they were told to agree to it by Thanksgiving or lose all further US support.

The Trump administration is implementing changes pursuant to the Big Ugly Bill to deprive 3 million Americans of food assistance

You can simply never underestimate the callousness of this government

A journalist doing journalism would've immediately pointed out that US intelligence concluded that MBS had ordered the killing.

But this crew would rather avoid getting yelled at by the mean old man than actually do their job.

A reminder that the reason Congress has had to vote to compel Trump to release the Epstein files is because TRUMP HAS REFUSED to release them.
Victims deserve to see real accountability for Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s horrific crimes.

That includes releasing the FULL Epstein files while protecting victims’ privacy.

Leader Thune must immediately place this bill on the Senate Calendar for a vote.
BREAKING: House overwhelmingly votes in support of forcing the Justice Department to release the Epstein files, which has mired the Trump Administration in controversy.
