New reissue in its way! These won’t be everyone’s idea of a great time, but they are for me! Such extensive insights, thrilling playing and gorgeous atmosphere. Don’t expect the conventional and prepare to be challenged by these recordings.

This Eastern Tiger Swallowtail stopped by earlier. It’s probably our most common butterfly around here besides skippers and cabbage butterflies. #bugsky #bloomscrolling #gardening #nature

#NowSpinning this disc, which I picked up when my current school’s music department started to give away its collection. Borodin’s Prince Igor and Steppes, Tchaikovsky’s Hamlet and Glazunov’s Fifth. A late night feast!

This is my first time seeing a Monarch on our property! I literally just purchased milkweed seeds and began preparing the area I’m going to plant in this fall. That’s quite the synchronicity. #gardening #bugsky #bloomscrolling #photography

My favorite kind of burger is thin and smashed to a salty craggy-edged crisp and you don’t even need an outdoor grill to make it. I’ll walk you through every part of making a glorious imitation of a Shake Shack burger; you’re in for such a treat.

This orange tree was here when we bought this place in 2002.🍊 Juiciest best oranges, no seeds, maybe Valencia. It sits on the edge of the driveway with a dry field behind it. I gave it a bench and a hydrangea… and WATER! 💝

I love perfectly seasoned, craggy bread-crumbed, deeply golden, crispy chicken cutlets but hated making them until I learned a trick from my MIL that makes them a little faster, less heavy, and, if you have old bread lying around, the absolute crunchiest.

Classic thick buttermilk waffles, now one-bowled and fuss-free for your weekend morning. I had a delicious time tuning up this 2007 (!) recipe this week and now I never want to stop making them.

If you've never smooshed warm feta on crostini and spooned grilled asparagus and charred red onion tossed in chimichurri sauce over it, just to warn you: you'll never want to stop.

Way back in the archives is one of the most cozy, luxurious things I can think of right now: pear crisps with vanilla bean brown butter. Serve them warm with a scoop of ice cream on top. They, you, deserve nothing less.

I thought all scones were stale and forgettable, the saddest part of the coffee shop pastry case -- until I made these. Not too sweet, perfect crumb and not even a little dry, they've converted legions of scone-averters.
