👋💚🍵 Hey everybody! I hope you are doing well. I recently made the switch from coffee to green tea to lower my caffeine and acid intake, so I replaced my coffee mug emoji with a tea cup. The jolt I get from that first cup of coffee is addictive, but I’ve noticed I don’t have the crash with green tea.

Love this one from Gram Parsons. He wrote this about his mother who died of complications related to alcohol on the day of his high school graduation. He himself died at the age of 26 & I think he was really just hitting his stride as a songwriter. RIP Gram & Avis. #musicsky

Yucca rostrata plant (beaked yucca) in park landscape bed. River rock fills much of the surface of the bed, which is also covered in patches of snow. The yucca is accompanied by one large rock and a few other shrubs and plants. Pennsylvania is on the right side of the Delaware River. New York is on the left side and New Jersey is just a little bit further upstream. In the NYC metropolitan area people refer to NY/NJ/Connecticut as the tri-state area. This is the rural tri-state area.

It took me about 5 hours to get all the shoveling done today. The snow was still falling when I started, so there’s still a little layer, but the blacktop and the black car will team up with the sun to handle the rest. I guess I can skip my workout today. 😆
