In many ways, the genAI scam has come at the worst possible time: after a generation of political discourse mocking and deriding the very notion of expertise, we now have a bullshit machine that sounds confidently like an expert but will never make you feel bad about anything and is “free.”
I have three hearings at three different courthouses today. At the second, someone was sobbing outside the courtroom. They'd asked ChatGPT what to say in Court. They believed what it told them.
They lost because it hallucinated, and they didn't know there were no do-overs.

Reminder that sexual expression in the arts is absolutely normal and human across time and all cultures. Sex is how we all got here, and the arts are how we express our living experiences. There is nothing immoral about it, and it should never be criminalized.
