I often wonder (and have asked) what the anti-trans lobby think they will achieve if they succeed

Here are 4 things that are likely to happen in that scenario that I genuinely think they do not realise

1. Trans men will have to use women only spaces. And there will be no legal way to stop them

This is obscene. Why can't other politicians say that?

The 25 richest families are collectively $358.7 billion richer than a year ago, with a combined fortune totaling $2.9 trillion.

But that's not what happens in real life. Why make it unrealistic?

Terrible people do terrible things and find love anyway. And we ALL slip up from time to time.

That's the point of the film, everyone fucks up but love still finds them. That's not a bad message at all.

Today marks 25 years of offshore wind power: an initiative that reduced the UK’s spending on imported fuels by up to £30bn.

Without wind power the country would’ve imported & burned over 20 million tonnes of gas over the last 25 years.

Basically all Farage does here is say "yes I'm racist but I'm too much of a coward to insult someone to their face"

At no point in this interview does he deny his racism and xenophobia, or even that he made anti-Semitic jokes about gas chambers.

What would the Green Party do at the Budget?

💡 Cut energy bills by ending profiteering
🚰 Cut water bills by bringing water into public hands
🏠 Give councils the power to control rents
🚸 Lift the two-child benefit cap and extend free school meals to all

Cut Bills. Tax Billionaires.

Laura Kuenssberg showed a chart tracking a small increase in the share of income tax paid by high earners.

She did not, of course, show a chart tracking the vastly increased wealth of the ultra-rich.

This is about *wealth* tax, not *income* tax. Crucial difference.

I set up my life assurance plan many years ago, it hasn't changed and is unlikely to in the foreseeable future.

Please stop sending me emails every month suggesting I log into your website to view it.

The Guardian are reporting a significant increase in Jewish people voting for the Green Party.

It's almost like many of us grew up learning a history of persecution & violence.

We don't oppose the Genocide in spite of being Jewish but because of it.

The labour party is dead and all they can do is make stuff up about Zack Polanski to try and save themselves.
The leader of the greens thinks he can persuade Putin to give up weapons. The leader of reform thinks he can cut public spending without cutting services. Labour risks falling into same trap in its immigration and asylum policies. To actually change the world we need less bravado and more scrutiny.

The govt's proposed new asylum laws are impractical, ineffectual, and outright cruel. Aping the rhetoric of Reform won't fix the real issues in this country; it will only stir up more false divisions and endanger already vulnerable communities.

Lots of Labour MPs asking Mahmood tonight to rule out child detention. She won’t rule it out. That’s because forced removals of families will mean children in detention for periods.

Home Office ruling out deportation of lone minors but the changes will certainly mean more detention of children.

A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.
