I don’t post on X anymore for this reason.

X is no longer a social media forum for the exchange of ideas, it’s a tool for Elon Musk to grow his power and influence. And it’s dangerous.

I don’t think people realize how close we are to a real constitutional crisis.

Trump is going to ignore court orders. Because the executive branch controls law-enforcement, there will be no way to enforce court orders.

When I say it’s already begun, look at the facts:

-Elon Musk, on behalf of Trump, has already accessed personal data of millions of Americans.

-members of Congress are being refused admittance to the EPA.

-the justice department is being purged of civil servants Trump thinks are not loyal to him.

It’s worse than we thought!

A 25-year-old Musk crony, Marko Elez, with zero government experience, had direct access to trillions in federal spending—while the White House and Treasury lied about it.

The truth: Elez could write code on 2 of the most sensitive systems in the US government.

For what it’s worth, Democrats did refuse consent on Vought. They tried to filibuster him, forced Republicans to jump through hoops and used up all 30 hours of allowed debate time, with an all-nighter on the Senate floor, and all 47 Dems voted NO each time. That’s about all they can do procedurally.
What the hell happened to refusing any and all consent to any votes on anything?
