You can’t “fix” X, The Everything App by going back and posting there because the owner has this thumb on the scale of the algorithm to promote the worst ideas and people. It’s not a viable solution, you have to let it go.

Yes I too love to hang out at a site run by an open white supremacist and his personality cult

Cinematography is for losers, art should not take time or be difficult
I was asked what I thought now that #pluribus has reached seven episodes.
I’m not seeing any of the liberal subtext some folks are seeing. But I’ve learned to watch the show by fast forwarding through the long, artsy stretches where no one speaks.
There were exactly 2 lines of interesting dialogue.

Blood Meridian
omg. Kat Abughazaleh just posted that if she's elected, she'll swear in on a copy of Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower.

If you were elected to public office (never mind whether you'd ever actually run), what book would you swear in on?

I thought free markets handled this sort of thing, not governments. What the fuck do these people even believe in
Duffy on what he's doing to improve the airport experience for travelers: "Maybe I want a workout area where people might get some blood flowing doing some pull ups or step ups in the airport."

he's about to shoot his friend in the head
we all got cowed into avoiding "virtue signaling" as if the public affirmation of socially agreed upon ethical principles was somehow cringey instead of a significant part of what a "society" even is. now all there's left is vice signaling, and it's reshaping society.

I was taught that the 2 things capitalism was to be wary of were monopolies and cartels, bc they had the power to artificially manipulate markets. But now we’re just super ok with them?

but this is what they said Obama would do, and we were supposed to resist it with our 2nd Amendment rights

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that since the EU was formed (and their fortunes intertwined) they stopped starting wars with each other, so we should definitely stop that
Elon Musk is against the European Union being the European Union —he posted this after X (fka Twitter) was fined for violations of the EU’s Digital Services Act.

shocker, a bunch of pedos are objectively pro-rape
BREAKING: Trump administration plans to end prison rape protections for trans & intersex people, memo says. A DOJ memo says certain standards under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) do not align with Trump’s Jan. 20 anti-trans executive order, @byadamrhodes.bsky.social reports.

I am genuinely curious about how he thinks we don’t have choice in auto markets; and even more curious about what he thinks the role of aesthetics is wrt fuel economy guidelines. This is muddled, dogmatic drivel
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

December 3, 2025 at 4:39 PM
just bc everyone can't seem to figure it out: POTUS mumbles something about "kill 'em all", SecDef repeats in actual shooting situation. Bc they operate under unitary president doctrine, POTUS cannot by definition give an unlawful order. Therefore, "you don't follow unlawful orders" is unreasonable
Sen. Eric Schmitt: "This is the language of a color revolution where you're calling on military men and women to disobey orders."

Fucking called it

If OBL were captured and not killed, he’d free him. His goal is to undo the past
Leavitt: "The people of Honduras have highlighted to him how the former President Hernandez was set up. This was a clear Biden over prosecution."

You forgot modular. You can take the same design that’s lowest-bidder for your average 0311 and with the same technical data package, turn it into a sub-sub-sub MOA sniper rifle with the same manual of arms and ergo/muscle memory. AKs can’t do that
1 of the fundamental reasons the AR-15 is so common isn't that it's a particularly lethal gun (it isn't), but that it's a. cheap (thanks, military industrial complex) and b. reliable. he basically solved firearms, with klashnikov's effort a valiant 2nd place. it's basically the honda civic of rifles
November 29, 2025 at 4:24 PM
it's bc it was done under the Biden admin
WHOA. Trump says he will pardon Juan Orlando Hernandez, who once said that he wanted to “shove the drugs right up the noses of the gringos.” He had people killed as part of his narco-trafficking ring, which he at times operated directly out of his presidential office.

big late breaking news: the market monitor for the largest energy grid in the u.s., covering much of the midwest and mid-atlantic, has called to block new data centers connections to the grid, saying current course of growth assures regular blackouts
No more PJM data centers unless they can be reliably served: market monitor
The PJM Interconnection’s market monitor urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to rule that large data centers can only come online if the grid operator can still meet reliability metrics.

Scoop: Provisions of the NDAA that would ensure military members’ right to repair their own equipment are set to be removed from the funding act, replaced by language that will require the military to pay subscription fees to defense contractors via “data-as-a-service.”
