Measles isn’t just a rash. Sure it can be sometimes, but it can also lead to death.
The 1st death has been recorded in West Texas outbreak.
I commend the many parents coming forward now and getting their kids protected. It’s never too late to get a vaccine.

First measles death is reported in the West Texas outbreak that's infected more than 120 people
A person who was hospitalized with measles has died from measles in West Texas. It's the first since the outbreak began late last month.

Some adults should consider getting revaccinated. That includes older adults who were born after 1957 and were vaccinated before 1968. The CDC recommends that anyone vaccinated before 1968 get at least one dose of the live attenuated vaccine.
