We can only control what we can control, which is very little, and that SUCKS, but you can work in your community to do SOMETHING, just find 1 thing to put your energy behind, and figure out how to limit your exposure to that which you cant control and will lead you spiraling downward. (2/2)

Section 504 is an important law that protects disabled people. Texas v. Becerra is a court case where people are asking the court to get rid of Section 504, which would hurt a lot of people. You can read about it and learn how to help with this plain language explainer:

SAMHSA is a small agency that does a ton of stuff; much of the work I do - things I am proud to be able to do/offer - is thanks to them.

They also oversee the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, which fields MILLIONS of calls.

They have fewer than 900 employees and half of them are getting fired

Repeating the standard message: if you were born before 1989, there's a good chance you didn't get both doses of MMR vaccine as a child, and there are people who lose immunity over time. If your insurance will pay for a titer test to check immunity, get one done. If not, get a booster.
