Interviewer: “What do you say to trans kids who are starting their transition?”

Zohran Mamdani: "We're gonna make this a city that doesn't just protect trans kids, but also celebrates and cherishes them."

Supports ?
Imagine getting this mad about this, but not the hundreds of thousands of kids dying of starvation and AIDs from USAID being cut off, which DSA supports
Zohran adding YIMBYs to his transition team is resulting in some absolutely incredible Left NIMBY crashouts over on Twitter. This is my favorite.

if mamdani gets this in every interview, republicans should always be asked to respond to the 76% of Black voters who think their party is "very" racsist
WELKER: What is your message to Jewish New Yorkers who feel you won't be tough enough in your response to antisemitism?

MAMDANI: That I am looking forward to being the next mayor and fulfilling the commitment I've made to Jewish New Yorkers to not only protect them but to celebrate and cherish them

In this tough and moving essay, Caroline Kennedy's 35-year-old daughter Tatiana Schlossberg reveals that she is terminally ill with leukemia. She has some choice words about how her cousin Bobby has made the limited time she has left worse. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...
A Battle with My Blood
When I was diagnosed with leukemia, my first thought was that this couldn’t be happening to me, to my family.

Watch Steve Bannon's pawn and part-time Russian asset Jack Posobiec get wrecked by Zohran Mamdani without even trying for pushing a racist hoax about his tax policies.

India was the biggest trading partner of roman empire and had joint kingdoms with ancient Greeks called indo greek kingdoms
"Greeks living in Afghanistan were Buddhist 500 years before China and a thousand years before Southeast Asia" is one of those things that sounds made up but is in fact true

Rep. Khanna: Now it is a criminal offense for any career official at the Justice Department or the FBI not to release these files. It's a contempt of Congress. It's no longer, 'we just don't feel like doing it now.' You're violating federal law, and that's something very serious.

Football is a much more white people sport than cricket or rugby . Every football world is won by white Majority country unlike cricket or rugby . Cricket World cups are won by a white ,brown and black majority countries
Nigeria's elimination from World Cup qualifying means eight of the 10 most populous nations will not be at the tournament ❌

With the USA taking a host-nation berth, only one of the 10 countries with the world's biggest populations actually qualified 🤯

I think the presidential systems make it harder for women to win.
the funniest thing about the people who argue america isn't ready for a woman president because of sexism are also the very same people who look down on places like india, pakistan, south korea, japan, brazil, sri lanka, bangladesh, taiwan, liberia, mexico, etc. for being more sexist/patriarchal
that whole 'this country isn't ready for a woman president' line is really upsetting because it shows exactly how neoliberalism works, redirecting blame from issues of policy (or lack thereof) onto a flattened, vague type of sexism in a way that ultimately doesn't even challenge sexism!
