Since we're being specific with words, I'll say that I don't think I've ever wanted soup such that any or most soup would suffice.
Soup is defined by being mostly liquid, and can (with the exception of purees and consummes) have flavor and texture variations from bite to bite depending on which ingredients are present in the spoon.

"Taxpayer" implies the classist, racist role of "taxeater," and while it can technically be useful for modeling the behaviour of politicians—because many operate on the tax-to-spend model—it isn't even an accurate model of public spending for a government that creates its own money.
The whole “I’m a taxpayer! It’s my money!” thing gives me hives. Just the most boomer-ass attitude possible.

I think this thread died the moment that "the proletariat = insulated minority" was left standing.
Because in practice it just moves the class in power from one insulated minority to another and with very few exceptions these projects end up recreating capitalism all over again, Cuba being the most notable exception I'm aware of holding their own.

I mostly agree with this, but more so: Any time spent on saying "they have incoherent politics" is probably better spent saying "what ideology, which policies, what social strategys have produced this violent nihilism, and what analogs do they have historically?"
