Yeah, I mean, I'm critical of any video nowadays that is trying to elicit an emotional response, especially when it's asking for subs at the end. It's weird that all the people seem to end up with the dog they want. And shelters are overflowing, where are the rooms full of people wanting to adopt?

The fact that the thing we're calling artificial intelligence *can't do math* and yet we're jamming it into programs that successfully *have done math* for decades, then warning people against using the AI to do math, seems like an excellent summary of where we are.
Good thing no one uses Microsoft Excel for anything related to legal, regulatory or compliance business functions

I think the recent criticism around Marvel's Spider-Man isn't necessarily the Universes Beyond aspect of it (as much as folks love to be critical of it), but more what Marvel generally symbolizes as a brand and as an intellectual property in the wider space. 🧵
I historically haven’t really cared that much about UB etc but the Spiderman completely eclipsing (haha) everything about Edge when Edge is so fucking sick has completely jokerified me
