This is not a post to critisise trans allies. I am, however, increasingly shocked at the lack of outcry from most cisgender people to the ever rising anti-trans hate. Trans people in the US and UK are being legislated out of existence.

at my inauguration night gathering, @queertheology.bsky.social pointed out that cishets who aren't even willing to sit in the discomfort of defending trans rights to their MAGA relatives at Thanksgiving are not going to be particularly reliable allies in an actual revolution, and whew I felt that
there's like, a lot of people out there who seem to think they can fix things by patiently and obediently following the law, and i hate to be the one to tell you this but sometimes you have to do things that Evil Government doesn't like

Climate change is a huge problem and everyone should do what they can but I strongly believe blaming individuals instead of corporations is a corporate tactic to obscure the key causes, create personal guilt, and discourage people from organizing for real progress.

My dad died on July 1st. I started having panic attacks at the end of August seemingly out of nowhere. Learning that this is manifested grief has been challenging to say the least. I am about a month out of some of the worst anxiety I've had since, where it was sustained for at least two weeks.
