Another good boy in the works
Lots of evolution in this construction! Dual petg and LW-PLA 3dprint for strength and weight in the perfect balance which worked really nicely. New systems for ears and eyes too and minor updates in other areas, such as a jaw stop to avoid scratching paint on the teeth.

Today marks the birth and passing of the late great Koichi Kawakita, who directed the incredible special effects of my favorite Godzilla movie.
When I painted this piece in 2017, I added the rose covered landscape (based on a deleted scene) as a tribute to him.

Really enjoyed the Bob's Burgers episode with Linus the lizard - I appreciate instead of a generic made-up lizard they actually used a real lizard that would live in the area. I used to see them once in a while when I lived in upstate NY!

Assuaging Pain. An acetaminophen/codeine pill. DIY 75% ethanol as a solvent for the analgesics and other soluble components of the pill. This is a speck-sized patch of the microscope slide on which I recrystallized the pharma chems. Looks to me like a waterfall lit with dappled sunlight.
