Couldn't get this idea out of my head so i picked up some cricut infusible ink to try custom tattoo sleeve on opaque tights.
Happy to inform it works beautifully!
Works almost the same as iron on vinyl, but without the vinyl just the ink. It can be cut and weeded for complex design

Some experimenting. Love this chroma air aluminum paint, plenty of pigment but stays translucent. And its not glittery 🙏

im close... relocated the cam link to the rear, then bottom with inverse slider/linkage for more clearance🥴

almost got it figured out but need to find a way to add more space to this cam as the spring return area is too short to function properly (in green)

got some more thoughts about getting more range of movement out of a single servo eye! geneva mechanism on the eyelid, to free up some rotation angles for an additional cam mechanism that rocks the eye side to side inbetween blinks!
i dont have a way to add the lower eyelid yet but maybe later

This is my new padding style, its like a stretch fabric pillow sleeve with a bit of velcro. The sleeve can be washed and the padding swapped or stacked for various desirable foam thickness and firmness to fit the wearer the best.
