The witch must solve the haunting to save both the town and her hot new girlfriend. A Harmony of Witches An autistic, transfemme, plant-killing garden witch works with a rival music witch to care for an ancient magical flower. When a meltdown turns the flower sentient, the garden witch must learn to regulate her emotions to turn it back before the scandal starts a social war. The thick canopy of tenebrous trees whips past me as l sprint, eyes locked on the sky and fist grasping the locket at my sternum. Flickers of sunlight filter through the twisted leaves, and each breath is hampered by the tight binding wrapped around my chest. The icy air freezes my lungs further, a wheezing pain with every exhale. I can't keep running like this. In a haunting whisper, the ghost speaks to me, uttering tour words that shake me to my core and pump me so full of adrenaline that I lay wide awake for the rest of the night, mind reeling through thousands of explanations for the words. The voice is distorted as it echoes through my ears, its warning taking over my brain like a parasite. "Watch out for Robin." Excerpts Drifting through the rest of the day in this half-there state, I sit with my feelings locked tight in a jar of my own design. MIl preserve my emotions like lemons, until they're laden with salt and mellowed in their sourness. That feeling, or lack thereof, feels warm as home to me, and my deep yearning for Nukeville ebbs into a sott ache that gently rubs my heart into a smoother, steadier rhythm. There will be no need for counting when there's no teeling to (dis regulate. I point the carrot in her face. "Number one: no fucking around." She pushes it out of the way with a huff. "You already told me that one." Ignoring her, ignoring her. "Rule two: no eating my food. We eat separately or together, but it has to be a predetermined choice. If I wake up and tind that you've eaten my morning cheddar again, you're toast." "Just spread me in butter, baby!" What to Expect My writing is voicey, lyrical, and emotionally resonant. I believe in the power of high-impact, fast-paced stories that are full of heart. Readers describe my voice as "a warm hug." Writing is the method I use to process the world. As a disabled author, I find it imperative to focus on characters with real-world struggles, even if they can fly and cast fireballs. At the heart of each of my stories is human connection and the human condition, finding ways to love yourself through opening up to love from others. My autistic perspective grants me insight to the way my characters behave and survive. As such, my characters are three-dimensional and relatable, and leave a lasting impact. Who am f? I'm a nonbinary, disabled lesbian, an artist, a performer, and a self-proclaimed comedian with four cats and a lovely wife.

1 Chapter 1| The thick canopy of tenebrous trees whips past me as I sprint, eyes locked on the sky and fist grasping the locket at my sternum. Flickers of sunlight filter through the twisted leaves, and each breath is hampered by the tight binding wrapped around my chest. The icy air freezes my lungs further, a wheezing pain with every exhale. I can't keep running like this. Heart throbbing, I dive to the right, somersaulting behind a particularly thick trunk with peeling umber bark. My knee catches on a sharp rock. The fabric tears with a loud groan from my throat, but bushes thankfully shield me from sight on either side. Crimson blooms through the muddy fabric until my exposed and excoriated knee is pulsing severely. I'd say I have about ten seconds before I've lost my lead. I let go of Mom's locket, adrenaline thick in my veins. Reaching under my tunic, my fingers catch on the thick, rough fabric coiled around my breasts like a constricting serpent. I wanted to feel like myself today. But if I don't release my bindings, I won't be able to run fast enough. It's worth the risk. Finding the tucked knot, I snap my fingers on my right hand, a flame bursting from the tip of my index finger. It burns through the fibers, a smoky scent flooding the air and heat rising on my flesh. Willing the flame hotter, I sear through the knot, and the binding unravels. Light, rapid footsteps sound in the quiet forest. Shit. I scan the direction I came from. In the far distance, a masked man's silver eyes flash in the emerging sunlight. He's just a speck of darkness in the grey morning, but approaching faster than I'd ever expect. Shoving the loose binding in my waistband, I race through the unusually silent Cantora Forest, slightly limping and cursing my luck. This is what I get for following a

The Pitch! When Sylvester Biskup’s former flame and adventuring companion Elsinor Laederiel unexpectedly appears back in his life, his world is turned upside down. At first Sylvester does all he can to avoid his flashy former lover: bury himself in work, plan a succubus’ wedding, and even give dating advice from a delusional bard a try. Then the university chancellor offers Sylvester a deal he can’t refuse: secure a donation to the university from Elsinor and earn the promotion he’s been coveting.
