scrolling algorithmic feeds was nice because it was so low-effort. but having fake media nearly indistinguishable from reality is making it HARD WORK because i have to inspect everything i encounter

question to artists who know what they're doing: when doing studies, i often find myself pulled in two directions: wanting to construct as much as i can to understand the subject, or trying to mentally "flatten" the subject as much as possible so i can try to capture the proportions accurately.+

i have not pirated anything for over a decade now but genAI is sure making me want to start again
(or i could just not watch or play the thing, which is actually easy to do if one does not center their life around consumption)

im seeing E33 art direction discourse. people are posting pictures of the game that either look "good" or "bad" tryna to prove some kinda point
but i think people are forgetting that the game actually looks like this for much of the playthrough (affectionate)

i know i dont have adhd because switching tasks every 30 seconds is just a hobby for me, and at no point have i ever felt like it interfered with my ability to function lol. if i need to get something done, i just do it
