"This, also you." She extended the bowl toward him. Great. His stomach was already full now. Giving the emptied bowl back, he accepted the second. The liquid in this one was pitch black. He sniffed it also. And gagged. "Oh! What is that?" he asked much louder than he meant. The shaman erupted in loud laughter. "That, Pot-ley the Jesting Man, is the antidote to the poison you just drank!" Wiping his cheeks, he shook his head. "You must drink as much antidote as you did poison. Or the poison's effects are too much for your body." Potley stared wide-eyed at the laughing half-giant. Poison? Bleeding, burning poison?

He shifted the contents and pulled out a bundle wrapped in cheesecloth. “I will. . . make toast.” “I can make eggs,” added Desden. He dug around in his bag, pulling out a random assortment of dishes and silverware, followed by a plain wand. “Alright, how do you all like your eggs?” “Ugh, no thanks. I don't want to play Demonlands roulette with my breakfast. I'll just have toast, please,” commented Dimamire turning to Sparky. Sparky nodded, retrieving a knife from his bag to slice the bread with. Desden shrugged. The others looked at each other uncertainly. Grenda tapped her fingers a moment, then asked, “Do you think you could make a crab omelet?” “I can give it a try,” agreed Desden. He picked up a plate and pointed the wand at it. There was a flash of white light from the tip of the wand, and a pile of egg stuffed with cheese and meat plopped down onto the plate. He picked up a fork and set it on the plate handing it to her. She allowed herself to smile, just for a moment as she took it. “Okay, who's next?” asked Desden. Grenda stepped back and took a bite. It was perfect, tender fluffy eggs, layered with melted cheese bursting with a sharp sour flavor, sweet bits of caramelized onion, and delicate slightly salty crab meat. Standing between the fire and the curtained exit stood a female half-giant, at least two heads shorter than the one who had his fall broken by Potley's body. The fact she was female was very hard to miss, as her muscular arms folded underneath a bossom that took up at least a fourth of her body weight. Probably. She wore her dark hair in a bun on top of her head, sharpening the angular features of her broad face.
