It was one of the newer buildings in town, with foundation of local white stone and whitewashed wooden walls. Along with the flowering bushes outside there was a statue carve from the same white stone. It was of a bearded human man holding a journal. Desden would probably have picked a classical author or famous mage, but Bluelore had felt strongly about the academic value of featuring the biologist. Sparky on the other hand had been annoyed they'd picked the human biologist over the lesser known birdkin that had come up with all his most famous concepts first. - The Fall of Ebonwald, White Cliff, book 1
