JD "I like unemployment" Vance.

It's a pitch, sure, but I'm not sure it's a winning one.
Q: The unemployment rate currently stands at 4.6%, the highest since the pandemic. So how do you inspire companies to hire people?

JD VANCE: You're talking about government sector jobs. We want to fire bureaucrats and hire these great Americans out here.

To note just one of the many problems with this idea, there are multiple that countries do not permit you to relinquish citizenship — and some of those countries also have jus sanguinis laws that make someone a citizen even if they were born in the U.S. and never left.
Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, just introduced a bill to ban Americans from holding dual citizenship. The bill says that to “preserve the integrity of national citizenship, allegiance to the United States must be undivided.” It’s called the Exclusive Citizenship Act.

in most instances. Not only have women changed, but the world has changed. Our economic and social realities have changed. And that is a normal and natural reality of human existence.

The men who adapt to a changed environment will get partners and pass on their genes & those who don’t, won’t.

As Native American Heritage Month ends, I’m reflecting on what I heard in Southeast: too many barriers and outside rules, and too little respect for local knowledge. Food sovereignty, safety, and self-determination are basic rights. It should be easier for communities to take care of their own.

one of the big lessons re conservatives and especially conservative christians is that they are more satisfied by being comparatively better off than others rather than being better off in absolute terms.

they’re perfectly happy to lose if you lose more.
There are a lot of conservstives screaming "THIS IS WHAT GOD WANTS" as their lives get measurably worse.
