He’s been waiting for this moment since Jan. 6, 2021. That’s why he wiped away those folks’ convictions and handed them federal badges.
This is so dangerous!

Trump is threatening to deploy the Insurrection Act because people are mad at ICE. He calls protesters insurrectionists after leading an actual insurrection himself.

Gestapo goons (= ICE Border Patrol) are real tough badasses when it comes to little old ladies, children, & people who won’t fight back

ICE & Border Patrol like to think they’re law enforcement officers, but they’re not. Just thugs w/guns who serve a Jewish guy who hates the fact he’s Jewish

Donald Trump’s approach to the world is not the isolationism that many of his supporters celebrated when he returned to office—it’s “a narcissistic form of unilateralism that says, loudly, I can do whatever I want, whenever and however I want to do it,” @sbg1.bsky.social writes.
Why Donald Trump Wants Greenland (and Everything Else)
There’s no Trump Doctrine, just a map of the world that the President wants to write his name on in big gold letters.

I hesitate to besmirch something so sweet with politics, but this is what makes New York City great - and this is what they are trying to kill.
Best TikTok thing going is the two dudes trying food from every country without leaving NYC. If you haven’t seen them yet, it’s incredible. My favorite so far is last week’s. Legit got me emotional.

BINGO from Janet Mills: My problem with Susan Collins is that she never does the right or hard thing the first time when it’s needed most – only when it serves her politically – and we always pay the price. Once again, she is a day late and a dollar short.

In Georgia, a mom facing eviction reached out to DFCS for help. They offered her nothing. Soon the agency took her kids away because of "inadequate housing."

The state then paid *$6,200 a month* to house her kids in foster care.

One of the most important and infuriating stories I read this year:
When Families Need Housing, Georgia Will Pay for Foster Care Rather Than Provide Assistance
In more than 700 cases over five years, Georgia reported inadequate housing as the sole reason for taking a child into foster care, a WABE and ProPublica analysis found. Advocates say it would be chea...

Have you ever heard someone go off, and their words are so perfectly chosen, so well said in that moment, that you’re in awe? You think, “There’s nothing to add here,” and you applaud in your head.

That’s exactly this. Pure perfection. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
