I was watching Fonda/Cliff Robertson called “The Best Man” (1964) setting of a contested primary convention, and one of the candidates talked about repealing 19th amendment, so it’s not exactly a new idea in conservative politics.
(Interesting flic, esp nowadays when bigotry & misogyny is on rise)

The victim was identified as Keontae. He managed to escape and called his mom from a cornfield an hour away. Thankfully, he did not suffer serious physical injuries, but local leaders say the emotional scars are already heavy—mistrust, fear, and trauma.
