Am I the only person who remembers 2018 “Trump Tariff Relief” program, a $41B bailout paid for by US taxpayers after DT started a trade war by slapping China w/tariffs, but they retaliated by slapping tariffs on US soybean/corn/wheat, so China simply bought from our competitors (Canada & MX)?

It is absolutely wild that the guy who won’t stop yelling about law and order is now personally stepping in to keep January 6 documents hidden from the police officers who were attacked that day. He knows exactly what’s in those files and he is terrified the country will see it.

I wish I were kidding.

Imagine lecturing district court judges for not assuming the Texas Republican Party was full of honest public servants who sincerely have the best interests of their constituents at heart.
Texas clearly did a racial gerrymander, which is illegal.

A district court found that Texas did a racial gerrymander, rejecting the new map because it is illegal.

But the Supreme Court reversed it.

Because? Must assume the gerrymanderers were acting in good faith (despite the evidence otherwise).

The three Democratic appointees, in an opinion by Justice Kagan, dissent.

I'll post the ruling shortly.

The Supreme Court paved the way for a felon to return to the presidency — where, behind the shield of office, that felon has ordered a string of murders.
The boat was split in half. 9 men were dead. 2 more clung to a floating piece of wreckage and tried desperately to flip it over for 41 minutes straight. There was no possible way they were going anywhere.

Then they were killed in cold blood by the U.S. military.

There is virtually no fed criminal law for wealthy people in America right now. Doesn’t exist. Trump’s DOJ either drops their charges or he pardons them. Anyone can buy their way out of prison for the right price on any charge, with crime victims left shattered with no justice.

Experts say it’s highly unusual for the White House to tell agents to give up custody of potential evidence in an investigation, as it did with the Tates.

“I’ve never heard of anything like that in my 30 years working,” an ex-DHS official said.
