Not sure I get why everyone’s so tense about tonight’s Leafs game. I mean if they lose the series tonight they can just go to Alberta and play a beer league team to get back into the playoffs, no?

Pierre lost. Plain and simple.

Now he runs as fast as he can to a rural area of Alberta asking an actual member of that area to resign so he can get back into the HOC.

If I lived in that community I'd be pissed off and upset that the elected member stepped down.

MPs who lose their seat in an election receive 50% of their annual salary in severance pay and I’d love to hear someone in the media ask Pierre if he’s cashing that cheque before he tries to win another seat but now I’m being ridiculous because we all know Pierre will not be taking media questions.

Pierre Poilievre received Stephen Harper’s endorsement.

Now, let’s examine Harper’s recent endorsements and see how good they were for Canada.

This is Sam Mraiche, CEO of MHCare.

Sam benefitted from over $614M UCP gov't contracts for defective face masks, Turkish pain meds, CSFs, & more.

Sam gave NHL playoff Skybox tix to UCP MLAs & staffers.

Sam is suing @thebreakdownab.bsky.social to silence them for reporting his connections.

Some important thoughts here from @alexcosh.bsky.social. I appreciate the orientation away from a nationalist approach. I don't want a Canada First policy to counter Trump's America First. Fighting nationalism with nationalism is a losing game.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this is exactly the wrong time to give to the keys to our country to a guy who’s spent the last two-plus years telling us all how bad our country is.

Hey MAGA! Just because someone is a woman or a racial or sexual minority doesn’t mean they’re a DEI hire. Yes, there are unqualified people being appointed to government positions in the Trump administration, but they are mostly unqualified, straight white male idiots.

Yes. Yes I do. He’s good at getting away with being something between vacuous and awful
Remember when this guy was using incel hashtags on his YouTube videos for years, and he just hid from the press for 3 months and it went away.

So let me get this straight — Putin, Musk, and Trump are pounding on our front door, and this is the kind of shit you’re pulling? You don’t work for Canada; you’re chasing your own selfish interests. Get fucked, @jagmeetsingh.ca Your days are numbered.😵‍💫👇
Justin Trudeau failed in the biggest job a Prime Minister has: to work for people, not the powerful.

The NDP will vote to bring this government down, and give Canadians a chance to vote for a government who will work for them.

I will never stop being aghast that the United States built a higher education system that was literally the envy of the entire world—our bitterest political enemies nonetheless sent their children to us to be educated, it was so good—& then just decided to systematically, ruthlessly dismantle it

Pierre Poilievre, who is clearly taking cues from Trump, is trying to radicalize his supporters into thinking they live in an authoritarian dystopia. It's kind of sad, tbh. www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...
Justin Ling: No, Pierre Poilievre, Justin Trudeau isn’t forcing us to eat bugs
Watching the party leader debase himself with bug-brained conspiracy theories is embarrassing. But this is, unfortunately, a core part of the Conservative party strategy these days.

The NDP will have a new leader soon and needs a disciplined communications strategy that hammers the government daily inside the House and outside on three or four key issues.
