Remembering when in December Trump announced:

"The media is tamed down a little bit. They like us much better now, I think. If they don’t, then we’ll just have to take them on again, and we don’t want to do that."

It feels like a lot of centrist pundits are rallying around Schumer because they feel the lesson of 2024 was that pushing out the ineffective older guy didn't work, instead of that they probably should've pushed him out earlier to get the new crew organized sooner.
