The booklet of the Liberation Tarot (Elicia Epstein, Adrienne maree brown & collective) is a breath of fresh air. This tarot is going to challenge me visually as it is not my style at all, but I *really* needed its content. Gosh i don't know how to describe the feeling of working with it.

I'm getting a lot of freaked out late-night texts from my friends who are not experienced organizers, looking for advice on how to deal with the constant onslaught of bad news and how to make themselves useful. This is the advice I give.
Y'all pick a lane. Then make a little progress in your lane each day.
Every serious, experienced organizer I know is Doing Their Thing. Instead of freaking out about each bit of bad news, we're in our lanes rapidly building dual power infrastructure and networks that don't rely on the goverment.

I've been seeing A LOT OF complaints the past 6 months or people being unable to connect to the whole community online. Artists not getting likes or comments or even views. Regular people not trying to make money, just to connect, crying they were shouting in the void. 1/n

I think Hephaestus and other disabled Gods are so important because their existence discredits ableist conceptions of "perfection." Hephaestus reminds us that wholeness, perfection, divinity, and disability are *not* mutually exclusive.

Rappel du jour. Modifier l'orthographe d'un mot a caractère anxiogène (trigger) sur un réseau social est contre-productif. Cela empêche de pouvoir filtrer le mot clé pour den protéger.
Un témoignage qui résonne avec moi. N'ayant jamais décidé de revenir sur Instagram après un harcèlement, j'ai laissé derrière moi la blessure de la perte de plusieurs années de travail et d'une base de followers. Je n'ai pas eu à m'y confronter à nouveau avec ces annonces. 1/n
I deleted Threads for good yesterday—the first, and least painful of the three. As a small business, deleting Insta hurts (it’s where most of my followers are, and where most of my income comes from), but as a person, deleting FB hurts. So many conversations with folks who are no longer with us.
