I obviously can only speak to the trans femme experience, but when viewed in an abstract, there’s a certain beauty of the symmetry of trans mascs finding power in confidence they were rarely allowed, while trans femmes find comfort in sensitivity they were often shamed for.

The nearly immediate relief of my lifelong DPD is the main reason I take HRT. Yes it will do other things that will eventually help my body conform to fit in more with societal expectations for women, but even if fixing what this article describes was the only thing it did I would still take HRT.

Early on I really wasn't comfortable with the eating our own vibe I was getting from McBride criticism, but at this point she deserves all of it. Our lives are not just a distraction and it's abhorrent that even when news outlets TRY to cover trans issues this is the messaging we get.
Sarah McBride is cis people's favorite politician because she gives them permission to ignore attacks on trans people.
McBride is a doofus.

Our concern isn't our fragile feels and our gender notions, it's that medication is withheld, our identity is revoked on licenses and we're targeted for legal discrimination in the workplace, our kids are sexually assaulted for the crime of wanting to play soccer, we're subject to v-coding, etc.
