Union salaries have already lost 10% of their spending power and many are being asked to do more with less. This isn't a manufactured fear by the opposition parties, this is a legitimate concern in the public service. If you're not planning layoffs, why do you need these additional powers?

European leaders are scrambling today to put together a response to Trump's Greenland threats, which could include sending a joint European force there to protect it from possible US invasion.

But most Europeans still cannot accept the idea that they need to be protected from America and not by it.
