That is the entire Democratic strategy. They are just running on the laziest platform. They think if republicans screw up, Americans will come crying. They’ve tried nothing and are ready to give up. They don’t know how to function anymore. They are embarrassing.
A big problem with Schumer's approach besides its utter failure to understand the moment is that parties usually do not win by rooting for a bad economy. He has no idea what egg prices will be in Nov 2026. What if they're low? Does he expect Dems to run on "Don't blame us for all this other stuff"?

I have to say: Chuck Schumer is a weak man and a fool. This was the one cudgel Dems had. Now it's up to the courts which we new from the beginning were at best going to slow some things down. There's 18 hours left to somehow bring additional pressure to bear. It will be really hard to do that.
