fire every ceo.
I never thought I’d say it
But it’s hard to hate the rain in California
The air is cold and blurry
As it presses the pine needles to your car
Tumbleweeds roll through the parking lots
of shopping malls and supermarkets
Everyone is inside
Watching movies on their TV’s
Staying warm

'Hurt people hurt people'

Yeah, but they don't have to. All that pain and anger is not a free pass to inflict ill upon others.

Someone told me once that when he learned that abusers were often victims themselves, he realized that he could either let what had been done to him make him hurt other people or it could stop with him. He chose not to pass it along. I have tried to live like that ever since.

Really good example of trying to foster AI doomerism in the comments I was describing. Even IF all of that is true (it's not, but sure), I can't stand the attitude of, well, since you *must* use X that's ethically compromised, you might as well just give up on everything! Just begging for a pass

Vance has always been more dangerous than Trump and we should not be hoping he takes power as this continues to expand. They all need to go down now. Both parties everyone who has ever known and done nothing in a position of power is compromised and must be removed from office and power.

To be very clear, Virginia Giuffre was made to say she mistakenly identified Alan Dershowitz as one of the people who sexually abused her. Here is the proof from this week's Epstein files dropped by the House Oversight Committee.

Growing your population is inflationary regardless of where that population growth comes from.
Fed Governor Stephen Miran: "Cutting down net migration to 0, potentially even negative because of the deportations that have been occurring, I think is very deflationary."

We've just had someone block us for being anti-AI.

We don't apologise for this. GenAI is almost overwhelmingly trained on human-made content without permission. It produces soulless results & we oppose its use in all forms of art.

If you're upset by that, feel free to unfollow

Thinking the whole "History repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce" is wrong.

It was always both.

The farcical nature is also what enabled tragedy but with distance we forget how buffoonish the evil people were and just focus on how horrific they were.

The entire leadership structure of the country needs to be rejected at its most fundamental level.
This has been the case longer than any of us have been alive and that's also what makes it so hard for people to understand it.
And it's something many marginalized people have said for just as long.
