I already see a bunch of "this is just a distraction" punditry, but try to remember that distractions that are hate crimes are still hate crimes. If someone hates crimes you, it would feel pretty shitty to have a bystander be like "just ignore that, it's a distraction"

As we start to see the “willing executioners” we have to remember our collective ability to not do anything willingly. These sorts of things also are framed to make us feel the need for compliance. If we remain clear about the horror being enabled, we uplift the struggle, not the lay down.

In a just society this would lead to both a massive class action suit and action barring any further Teslas hitting the market until this system is completely removed. Instead there will be some wagging of fingers
