Nailed it. The modern age of digital colonizers is in full swing.
If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

Not good for the staff who will lose their jobs. The management have been negligent with scant regard for patients and professionals. Just focussed on share price 🤷🏼‍♂️ Supply chain issues, arbitrary withdrawal of insulins etc. Patent renewal shouldn’t happen and generics should come on board soon.

Sometimes, blame for failed TB treatments is placed on patients not taking their meds. Dr. Farmer tried something new; he gave everyone free medicine, but also gave some food, money for childcare and transportation, and home visits from his staff. Everyone in the second group was cured. #TBReaders

Metformin, the first line drug for Type 2 diabetes, has been used for 60 years without a clearcut mechanism of action. It turns out it's not just reducing glucose output from the liver. Metformin also works via the brain www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
Low-dose metformin requires brain Rap1 for its antidiabetic action
Metformin lowers blood glucose by inhibiting Rap1 in ventromedial hypothalamic neurons that regulate glucose balance.

One way to defeat AI in the future 😉 Paging John Connor!
Handwritten labels and watermarks on histopathological images can unintentionally act as prompt injections, misleading vision–language models and resulting in inaccurate outputs that highlight a critical vulnerability in medical #AI systems. Learn more: nejm.ai/4mrSoEW

In September, 2024, physicians working with AI did better at the Healthbench doctor benchmark than either AI or physicians alone.

With the release of o3 and GPT-4.1, AI answers are no longer improved on by physicians

Error rates appear to be dropping for newer AI models. openai.com/index/health...
